Invitation To TRI Studios Webcast & Charity Info For Proceeds

Greetings Stoopidheads!

We wanted to take this time to cordially invite you to a very exciting event - our live real-time web performance broadcast from within the walls of Grateful Dead/Furthur guitarist and founder Bob Weir's TRI Studios on Sept 13, 2011

The in-studio performance will feature a live fan to band Q&A session between 2 sets of music, something we've never done before and we are excited to utilize this new technology in doing so. All of this can be dialed in for optimum sound and video straight from your computer to your stereo and HD television for maximum viewing pleasure!  Live Twitter and Facebook feeds will accompany the broadcast so you all can tune in, ask us questions and see what everyone is saying in real time!

We have also aligned with the following charities, and will donate all net proceeds to the following organizations:

Save The Children - http://www.savethechildren.org

Saves lives with food, medical care, and education

 World Food Programme - http://www.wfp.org
World's largest humanitarian organization fighting hunger

Bob Weir's TRI Studio is equipped with the latest webcast technology and Meyer Sound System, and was built for the purpose of real time webcasts of intimate studio performances and fan forums as a new model being tested in creative circles within the rock n' roll pantheon, and we are very excited to be one of the first bands to do something like this...live from the studio.

We encourage you to turn on, tune in, and experience this!  Please invite your friends over, have a beer, a smoke, kick back and participate in this experiment we are stoked to provide our amazing fans with.

The broadcast fee is only $10 and all net profits will be split amongst the charities.  From a pricing standpoint, please realize, we have aimed to keep this as inexpensive as possible and to still try and raise money and awareness for these charitable groups previously referenced. We are shooting to get a minimum of 5,000 viewers to start to generate money for the charities.  The technology to deliver something of this nature does have costs associated with it, and we say this so that our fans recognize the event is not a profit driven scheme to make money, but for Slightly Stoopid and its viral fanbase to bring music, technology, creativity, and goodwill to those less fortunate than us!

Help us make a difference.....we are more than "grateful" to be able to do this for a living and will continuously strive to provide the most cutting edge musical experiences for our fans to enjoy  at the same time while helping others......

We are excited to have sitting in with us on this special event none other than Karl Denson (Greyboy Allstars/Tiny Universe), Don Carlos (Black Uhuru), Ian Neville (Dumpstaphunk/Funky Meters), and Bob Weir (Grateful Dead/Furthur) and to broadcast it live to Stoopidheads around the world.

Please dont forget to tune in on SEPT 13
6pm (live webcast) or 9pm (replay webcast) Pacific Daylight Time
