Slightly Stoopid will be blazing through the Eastern Seaboard this February. Kicking it off in the nation's capital with 2 nights at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC, then hitting RI, NYC, Atlantic City, Norfolk, and Charleston, before wrapping it up with 2 nights at the new Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, FL.

NORML Presents: Legalize It Tour "Yes on Prop 19" YouTube Contest

Win a phone call from B-Real of Cypress Hill, a limited edition Slightly Stoopid vaporizer, a framed and autographed tour poster, and a free one-year membership to NORML!

Greetings from the Legalize It Tour! Slightly Stoopid and Cypress Hill have teamed up with the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, also known as NORML to do a fan video contest in support of Prop 19.

Prop 19 - on California's ballot this November — would allow adults 21 and up to buy marijuana for recreational use, and cause it to be taxed just like alcohol. If passed, this would be a HUGE step forward in the fight to end marijuana prohibition. Our government can generate between $12-18 billion in tax revenue, save over $200 million in law enforcement costs, and create between 60-80k new jobs.

We need you to make a video (60 seconds or less) stating what you think California should do with the revenue generated from taxing marijuana. Upload it to YouTube and BE SURE to tag it with "YesOnProp19" - all one word.

A pool of finalists will be selected based on which videos having the highest number of comments and views, and then the best video from those finalists will be awarded the grand prize. The grand prize winner will receive a personal phone call from B-Real of Cypress Hill, a limited edition Slightly Stoopid vaporizer, a framed and autographed tour poster, and a free one-year membership to NORML!

Two runner-ups will also each receive a special prize pack full of autographed t-shirts, hats, CD's, and special edition Slightly Stoopid rolling papers and lighters. Slightly Stoopid Announces Smoke Out Festival

Slightly Stoopid will be performing at Cypress Hill's Smoke Out on October 16 at NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA. Smoke Out is an all day mind-opening music festival and medical marijuana expo, and will feature performances by Incubus, Slightly Stoopid, Manu Chao, Nas & Damian Marley, and more, including Cypress Hill performing their self-titled debut album, Cypress Hill, in its entirety.

Tickets for this event will be available through pre-sale starting Thursday 8/12 at 10:00am PDT by clicking HERE and using the password "LEGALIZE". Tickets will be available to the public on Saturday 8/14 at 10:00am PDT.

Your Tour Photo Could Be Our Facebook Profile Pic!

The second leg of Slightly Stoopid's Legalize It 2010 tour, with guests Cypress Hill, kicks off this weekend and continuing throughout the summer. The shows have been amazing so far, and with so many fans in attendance taking pictures, Slightly Stoopid wants you to share those pictures with friends and fellow fans! Even better, by sharing your photos with Slightly Stoopid, they're going to give you the chance to have your own photos featured as the official Slightly Stoopid Facebook profile pic for a day.

 

Here's how:

1. Come out to a Slightly Stoopid show when we're in your area.

2. Take as many pictures as you can!

3. Upload your pix to your Facebook page, select the best ones and post them on Slightly Stoopid's Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/slightlystoopid

 

Each week Slightly Stoopid will go through all of the posted pictures posted and select, at random, one of them to be the official Slightly Stoopid profile picture for a day. Feel free to submit as many pictures as you like, the more the better!

Legalize It Tour: It's More Than This Summer's Party...

Slightly Stoopid's Legalize It Tour is more than just THE party to be at this summer, it's about us trying to raise awareness regarding a serious issue in this country: The War on Drugs. This November, voters will have the opportunity to vote on Prop 19 to control & tax cannabis in California. This is an issue that can change the face of the country for the better. That is why we have been working with the likes of NORML, Marijuana Policy Project, and Tax Cannabis using our platforms to get the word out on this important issue.

The deadline to register to vote is October 18th. We encourage our fans to get involved, register, and Rock The Vote!

The Legalize It summer tour is underway and we’re stoked to announce a special giveaway contest for the month of July. Starting July 1st, we invite all Stoopidheads to email or text us a picture of you with a Slightly Stoopid ticket stub from ANY past OR upcoming tour date. We’ll upload your pix to a special fans-only album on our Flickr photo account.

 

We’ll select folks at random to receive special prizing, including our limited edition 7" vinyl featuring a special never-been-released-as-an-mp3 dub remix of "No Cocaine" by Scientist. When taking the pictures, the more creative the better!

Slightly Stoopid is bringing Cypress Hill on the road with them this summer for their Legalize It 2010 tour. Help spread the word and you could win one of three prize packs including a signed poster from Slightly Stoopid and a signed copy of Rise Up from Cypress.

Here's how:

1. Post a Facebook status update telling people that Slightly Stoopid and Cypress are touring America this summer and include this link: http://bit.ly/bzPvWd Also, do the same on Twitter if you have one.

Slightly Stoopid's Legalize It 2010 summer tour is kicking off tonight in Jacksonville, OR with Steel Pulse and The Expendables. As some of you Stoopidheads may remember from last year's Blazed & Confused Tour, Slightly Stoopid had a Chameleon Glass custom pipe giveaway for each tour stop.
